Mediators

Unless the parties have agreed otherwise, mediation process is conducted by one mediator.

The mediator is to be nominated by the parties from the List of Panel Members approved by the President of the Russian CCI, or offered jointly by the parties themselves.

Unless the parties have not agreed on mediator nomination within 30 days from the day the Panel received their mediation request, a mediator will be appointed by the Panel Chair with regard to the preferences, if any, of the parties.

The mediator does not represent either of the parties. The mediator selected or appointed as above shall make a written statement pledging to be neutral, independent, and impartial, and to observe confidentiality of information coming to his knowledge in the course of the mediation
