Mikhail Yu. Savranskiy

Mikhail Yu. Savranskiy – deputy Director of the Center of Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

He graduated from Moscow State Academy of Law with Diploma in international private law in 1997.

In 2001 completed postgraduate studies in the Center of legal issues of international economic relations of the Institute of state and its rights of the Russian Academy of Sciences and defended his dissertation entitled "Legal regulation of international financial leasing".

From 1994 till 2003 was engaged in private legal practice, worked in law departments in various Russian companies, and as the head of corporate law department.

Since 2003 has been working in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation.

Professor of Russian Private Law School under the President of the Russian Federation, arbitrator of several arbitration courts, including The International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, The Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow and the arbitration court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow Region. He is also an arbitrator of the Arbitration Commission at the Moscow Interbank Stock Exchange, trustee of the Russian Centre of Arbitration Trial Assistance and member of editorial boards of magazines «Bulletin of the international commercial arbitration court» (Moscow) and "Arbitration court" (St.-Petersburg).

Furthermore he is the author of a number of publications on issues relating to international contractual obligations and commercial dispute resolution and a frequent speaker at various regional and international conferences in Russia and abroad.
